We are seeking contributions for presentations and panels for our upcoming event in Lagos, Nigeria:

AfPIF is a premier three-day event focused on addressing the key challenges and opportunities within Africa’s Internet ecosystem. It brings together a diverse group of stakeholders including executives, business development managers, peering coordinators, engineers, and government representatives to foster collaboration and growth in Internet infrastructure, content delivery, and traffic exchange across the continent.

The conference features keynotes, presentations, panel discussions, tutorials, and lightning talks, complemented by dedicated networking sessions and social events. It brings together a wide range of stakeholders including network operators, IXPs, regulators, content providers, data centers, and transit providers to explore the key challenges and opportunities in Africa’s Internet ecosystem.

We are seeking proposals for presentations and panels which address the following themes:

- Regional challenges and opportunities.
- Policy and regulation related to interconnection, peering, content, and data center.
- Network peering and transit strategies.
- Data center, colocation, and content ecosystem development.
- Experiences and lessons learned from deploying Internet infrastructure.
- Research on the African Internet including routing and network interconnection. 
- Tools, technologies, and innovations related to peering and interconnection. 
- Fostering talent, diversity, and inclusion in the Internet industry.
- Other matters that relate to peering and interconnection. 

Submission Guidelines:

- Slides must be provided with all submissions.
- Draft slides are acceptable for works-in-progress.
- Slides must be submitted in PDF format.
- Presentations should be non-commercial. Marketing talks will not be accepted.
- We have a strong preference for in-person presentations.
