WAPF 2026 will be held in Cotonou, Benin from June 24-26 in partnership with ISOC Benin Chapter, COTIX and the Club DSI of Benin.
The West Africa Peering Forum (WAPF) is a flagship regional event dedicated to advancing Internet interconnection and digital growth across West Africa. It serves as a collaborative platform where Internet Service Providers (ISPs), mobile operators, content providers, data center operators, regulators, and policy makers come together to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and build partnerships that strengthen the region's digital ecosystem.
Through a mix of presentations, panel discussions, and networking sessions, WAPF addresses key issues such as Internet Exchange Point (IXP) development, cross-border interconnection, data center growth, cloud and content localization, and strategies to improve Internet resilience and affordability. The forum also highlights opportunities for capacity building and encourages collaboration between regional and international stakeholders.
By fostering dialogue and cooperation, WAPF contributes to a more interconnected, affordable, and resilient Internet in West Africa, supporting innovation, economic growth, and greater digital inclusion for businesses and communities across the region.
